Description LYNNE DREXLER RAINBOW JOURNAL This rainbow journal was inspired by Lynne Drexler. Drexler filled her canvases with vibrant color using chalks, pencils, paint, and crayons as well as oils, to bring her ideas to life. “I could always find the color,” she was known to say. Today Drexler is recognized as a second-generation Abstract Expressionist who came of age in the 1960s. Farnsworth Art Museum has several Lynne Drexler pieces in their permanent collection. Lynne Drexler: Color Notes is on display in the museum through January 12th, 2025. The Rainbow Journal is lined and measures 4 1/2″ x 6″.
