Description In the years immediately following the end of WWII, a group of young, avant-garde artists based in New York discovered the pleasures of summering and working in Maine. Slab City Rendezvous includes the works of artists Alex Katz, Jean Cohen, Lois Dodd, Rudy Burckhardt, Yvonne Jacqette, Red Grooms, Mimi Gross, Rackstraw Downes, and Neil Welliver.
